Unpredictable wash times
"Having had 3 Samsung washing machines previously I wanted to try something new. Wanted a large capacity, slim depth and quick cycle for a full load.
It delivers on 2 of the 3.
Large capacity - fantastic, drum is big at 10kg and does not disappoint.
Slim Depth - another win, super slim, 53cm is total depth including the front door!
Quick programme - here is where we come unstuck. It is advertised as capable of a full 10kg in 59 mins. However…turns out this is only 20degrees max. For 40degrees you are into c.1hr30mins to 3hrs30mins.
The machine is ‘intelligent’ - this is actually a nightmare, the cycle VERY RARELY takes what it says at the beginning, and ends up being longer. This makes planning a few wash loads in a day tricky.
The Hon app has a lot of features, and a lot of programmes. Too many in fact. Most of the programmes are only accessible through the app also. For example, towels programme can only be set on the app.
I think this machine is trying to be too clever and loses site of the basics in my opinion.
The unpredictably of the programme times is not for me, and that is ultimately why it gets 3 stars.
On my previous Samsungs I could ask for a 59 minute wash and I would get a 59 minute wash, no such luck here!!
It washes well, but if set times are important to you, look elsewhere. "
