"Great product at a great price (good job too as it was the 2nd one having dropped a jar on the 1st & smashed it within 2 weeks). Easy to use once we got the hang of it & looks lovely & neat (especially with the steel cover we bought to avoid accidents!)"
"Looks nice but makes very strange clicking noises after it’s heated up for a while, sounds like it comes from the internal workings, it’s not the glass.
Also, it doesn’t seem to heat up as much as my last hob, I don’t have to turn the heat down from the top setting while cooking veg, whereas my last one heated up quicker.
I was concerned as I’ve never known this with a hob before- I called Hotpoint only to be told “because it’s a base level hob” it’s usual for it to make these noises!
I’m not convinced it will last long. Next time I will pay more and get another Neff hob as my last one was still going strong after 20 years. "

"I haven't used a ceramic electric hob in years. I remember they took ages to heat up and ages to cool down. I was suprised by how quickly this one heats up, and it is useful to have the red circles showing when in use. "
