"Chest freezer was smaller than I would have liked but it was an emergency so I had no choice. It has been very difficult to get it to the correct freezing temperature despite putting it on a much lower setting and the fact that it is situated in an outside garage. I find the digital temperature controls confusing as there are no lights to show that the freezer is on and working OK. When the lights are illuminated it would be better if the actual temperature was shown rather than just the temperature setting; you have to rely on an additional thermometer to ensure it has reached the correct temperature."
