Not as well built as the Siemens it replaced

"This dishwasher was purchased to replace a Siemens one which was about 12 years old. So this review is comparing the new with the old. Siemens and Bosch are the same company and many of the components on the new Bosch model are the same as on the Siemens. The overall build quality of the new Bosch unit is not as good as the Siemens, the baskets in particular are lighter and more flimsy and the bottom basket does not have the hinged arm to support larger dishes. Many reviewers have stated that this model is very quiet. whilst not being noisy, it is no quieter the the 12 year old Siemens. One of the reasons I purchased this model was the low energy and water consumption. I find that the most energy efficient programs do not always remove all the hardened food stains, a more intensive program is required if dishes are not washed soon after use. Being an integrated machine, a template is supplied to drill pilot holes for the fixing screws. I found this not to be accurate and ended up clamping the kitchen door to the dishwasher and marking the holes. As these were very close to the original holes, these need to be filled before drilling the new ones.

This is not a bad dishwasher but I was expecting an improvement on the 12 year old Siemens model it replaced. Yes there are useful new features such as the floor display, WiFi connectivity and door release. I may be a little harsh only awarding 3 stars but I was expecting it to be better in all areas than the model it replaced, so a little disappointed."

"Great so far, very quiet and with excellent results. The app is good to monitor energy usage and water usage too which is a nice touch."

Quiet and a good range of features

"My son has the earlier version of this and we were really impressed, it is very quiet, has a good range of programmes and I love the fact that it displays the time remaining in lights on the floor. I also really like that you can set it to remember the last programme you used and automatically go to that. You can also stop it from popping open at the end of the cycle - useful if you have sensitive wooden worktops."

Love The Bosch

"This is the 2nd Bosch dishwasher we have owned, the first one has lasted over 14 years and has served us well, being in daily use.

That’s why we selected our new Bosch dishwasher from AO. It has a lot more washing functions, dries very efficiently, and is still very user friendly! There is more room internally, with the cutlery tray at the very top of the machine and therefore leaving move space in the lower section (without the cutlery basket).

It is very quiet when in use and I like the countdown clock which shines on the floor to indicate how much longer the wash has to run.

All in all, very happy with our new purchase.

Bosch integrated dishwasher

"I love this dishwasher, its sleek, modern and fits in great in my kitchen. It is so quiet i never know it is working until the door opens. Love the fact you can set it with wifi. The amount of times weve just got into bed and said "did u turn the dishwasher on? Now i can just do it via Wifi. Excellent product and well worth the money."
